What an amazing place to be married. The grandeur of the mountains, the magnificent lake views and the superb venues of the Southern Lakes are unparalleled and as a local Marriage Celebrant, it’s my pleasure to be a part of a couples wedding ceremony that brings together the best that our area has to offer.
I feel privileged to be part of an extremely rewarding service that I offer to my local community and to both national and international couples wishing to be married.
I have an extensive range of wedding ceremonies to offer as well as giving all couples the opportunity to add their own words and wishes for the 'big day'.
I am happy to perform marriage ceremonies in many unique locations and venues throughout the Southern-Lakes District and further afield.

Dear Peter, We sincerely wish to thank you for delivering our ceremony. Reflecting on the wedding the next day, we both agreed that the ceremony was our favourite part of the day - and that was in no small part to you, so thank you! We received many compliments after the ceremony on your behalf. We enjoyed dealing with you in the lead up to and on our big day. You are the consummate professional and we were so pleased to have you do our service. Many thanks & best wishes, Ben & Ana Lynch
We just wanted to say thank you very much for making our special day memorable. You made the lead up and day so enjoyable and relaxed. We would have no hesitation recommending you to anyone. Thanks, Oytun & Emma Cevik
What a warm, kind caring, spirit. We are from the United states and were married at the Cardrona Hotel in New Zealand on March 6...The Skype sessions from overseas and emails back and forth were wonderful, fun and so exciting ...we couldn't have asked for a more professional and amazing Kiwi to marry us!!!! Cheers Arash & Christine
We wanted a celebrant with a warm, loving, kind heart to tie us in our bond of marriage and that's exactly what we found in Peter. Peter won everyone's heart during the rehearsals where he was not only helping us with the script etc but also chatted and showed us around Stoneridge. Peter was able to accommodate last minute changes to the reading etc. I didn't have to stress at all about anything before the wedding, Peter took care of it all printing the readings, having the vows ready for both of us. He guided us beautifully and made it super special. We couldn't have been happier - Nikul and Jaya
The first meeting is obligation-free. It's a chance for the bride and groom to meet me and go over the plans for the wedding day. This can be in person or via Skype. We will discuss the type of ceremony you want, and I will draft a ceremony tailored to your needs. Ideas for vows and readings can be added as we go along. A rehearsal may be required before the wedding day.
Before you get married you will need to apply for a Marriage Licence. This should be completed in plenty of time however it can be done with at least 3 working days before your wedding day. You will need two witnesses on the day.
You can do so HERE.
Preparations will have been completed and guests will be arriving with plenty of time before the ceremony.
It’s a time for you both to enjoy and relax before making your way to the venue.
This is your Big Day and now it’s time to let the Marriage Ceremony begin.
Vows, readings and ring exchanges will be completed.
To make it official and legal, you both will sign the marriage documents and then witnessed by two guests.
Congratulations, now it really is time to relax and take it all in. Photographs with family, friends and guests.
ENJOY!!
